· August 9th, 2008 Annual Block Party

· Event time to be determined– Activities will be arranged on the Regency Park Nazarene Church Parking Lot (North of Church)

· 50th East Ave is scheduled to be closed from the corner of 87th East  Ave & 50th to approximately 88th East Place for further activities in the street.

· Some of the Block Parties Larger Activities will be staged on the South end of Aaronson Park.

· If weather permits the board is attempting to reschedule the Hot Air Balloon for tethered rides for residents.

· Shaded Seating will be provided on the north side of the Nazarene Church's lots.

· Catered Food & Music Provided by Michael Rainwater’s professional disc jockey company “The Wave” . A variety of music will be provided to appeal to all ages.

· A Hula Hoop contest for children & young adults will be provided. Inflatable kid games will be staged in Aaronson Park.

· DUE TO THE COST OF THE EVENT A SMALL DONATION WILL BE ASKED OF EACH PARTICIPANT HOWEVER IS NOT MANDITORY.
